अम्भोजिनी वनविहार विलासमेव

हंसस्य हन्ति नितरां कुपितो विधाता।

न तवस्य दुग्धजलभेविधौ प्रसिद्धां

वैदग्ध्यकीर्तिमपहर्तुमसौ समर्थः।। - भर्तृहरि नीति शतकम्

హంసస్య హన్తునితరాం కుపితోవిధాతా l

నత్వస్య దుగ్ధ జలభేద విధౌ ప్రసిద్దాం

వైదగ్ధ్య కీర్తి ముపహర్తు మసౌ సమర్థః ll

దీని తెలుగుసేత ఏనుగు లక్ష్మణకవి గారు ఈ విధముగా చేసినారు

వనజభవుండు కోపమున వాహనమైన మరాళ భర్తకున్

వనజ వనీ విహార కలనంబు తోలంగగ జేయుగాక,గుం

భనమున దుగ్ధజీవన విభాగ విధాన నిరూఢ నైపుణీ

జనిత మహాయశో విభవసారము హంసకు మాన్పజాలునే

బ్రహ్మ దేవునికి కోపము వచ్చి తన వాహనమైన హంసను తామర కొలనిలో తిరుగకుండా చేయవచ్చునేమోగానీ జన్మతః సంక్రమించిన , పాలను నీటిని వేరుచేయు,గుణమును మాన్పలేడు కదా !

ఎంత వాస్తవమైన మాటనో గమనించండి. ఒక ఉత్తమునికి చెడు చేయ సంకల్పించినా అతనిని శారీరికముగా, తనకున్న బలము బలగాముతో హింసించవచ్చును గానీ ఆ వ్యక్తి యొక్క యోయతాగునములను రూపుమాపలేడు. దీనికి రాణా ప్రతాపసింహుడు – అక్బరు అతి చక్కని ఉదాహరణ.

మహాదాత రాజా రంతిదేవుని నుండి అతనివద్ద గల ఆహారమునంతా, అతనికేమీ మిగల్చకుండా పరమాత్మ తీసుకొన్నాడు కానీ అతనిలోనున్న దానగుణమును మాత్రము తాకలేక పోయినాడు. గుణమునకు ఆయన దాత, కర్మ ఫలమునకు మనమే నేత.

सृष्टिकरता ब्रह्मा अपने वाहन  हंस पर क्रोधित होने पर उसका वनविहार अवरुद्ध कर सकता है पर 

जल को दूध से विभाजन करनेका गुण को छीन नहीं सकता।

अपने अंदर मौजूद गुणों और अवगुणों का अवलोकन करते हुए अपना लक्ष्य निर्धारित करना चाहिये। 

परमात्मा ने हमें कर्म करने की सारी शक्ति दी है और उस शक्ति भगवान् हम से चीन नहीं लेता l अगर वे 

गुस्सा किए तो कोइ बाहरी सौलभ्य हमें दिया है वह तो चीन लेसकता है l महाभाक्त रंतीदेव से  भगवान् 

ने मुह के यहाँ खाना चीन सका लेकिन उनका दान गुण को कुछ नहीं करसका l इसलिये अपने कर्म 

की प्रेरणा के लिये उसकी तरफ ताकने की बजाय अपने गुणों के आधार पर लक्ष्य की तरफ बढना 

चाहिये। सच बात तो यह है कि परमात्मा ने जिन गुणों को स्वाभाविक रूप से हमें सौंपा है उन्हें वह 

चाहकर भी वापस नहीं ले सकता क्योंकि वह फल को प्रदान तो करता है पर कर्र्म का निर्धारण जीव 

को स्वयं ही करना है।

Brahma, the creator, when angry with his vehicle, a swan, can block his 

movement in the glorious like of his elegant garden, but cannot take away 

the quality of taking away milk from the admixture of milk and the water.

You should set your goal by observing the qualities and demerits present in 

you. God has given us all the power to act and God does not take that 

power from us. If He gets angry then he can take away any external comfort 

from us but not the imbibed quality.

The external prosperity has been given to us, he can take. From the great 

devotee Rantidev, God could take away all the food from his mouth.

But not his virtue of charity. That's why look at him for the inspiration of your work of moving towards the goal on the basis of your qualities. The truth is that the qualities which God has given us naturally, he cannot take them back even if he want to, because he gives the fruit. But the karma has to be determined by the soul itself.
