మనసు - Mind
The word ‘man’ comes
from the Sanskrit root man, which means mind. If you understand the workings of
the mind, you will understand the reality of man. If you understand the inner
mechanism of the mind, you will understand the past of man, the present and the

Actually, under normal course the mind controls the man and hence the behavior
of man becomes erotic. If it is going to be otherwise then the man can command
demand and even reprimand his mind to act according to him. If everybody
realizes the reality in this, then that day will surely bring RAMA RAJYA to the
earth.
'మానవ' అన్న శబ్దము 'మనః' శబ్దజన్యము. 'మను' నుండి కూడా పుట్టినది అంటారు. ప్రస్తుతము ఈ విధముగా తీసుకొందాము. ఈ మనస్సు అన్న మాటకు ఆంగ్లములో
సమానార్థకము లేదు. ఈ మనోప్రవృత్తిని బట్టి మనిషి యొక్క గుణగణములుగానీ ఆలోచనా
విధానము గానీ, సంభాషణా సామర్థ్యము గానీ ఆధారపడి వుంటుంది. ఈ మనసే మన
జీవిత గమనమును గమ్యమును నియంత్రించుతుంది. ఆ మనసును మనము నియంత్రించ గలిగితే మనము
నిజముగానే మానవులమౌతాము . అట్లు కాకుంటే కేవలము మానవ మాత్రులమే! మనసును అదుపులో
నుంచుకొనుట నేను చెప్పినంత సులభము కాదు. అయినా 'కృషితో నాస్తి దుర్భిక్షం' అని 'సాధనమున పనులు సమకూరు ధరలోన' అని కదా పెద్దలు చెప్పినారు. మరి ఆదిశగా ఏమాత్రము ప్రయత్నిచుచున్నాము అన్నది
మనము ఆత్మ విమర్శ చేసుకొనవలసిన విషయము. మనసులో మంచిని నెలకొల్పితే మానవునికి భక్తి, శ్రద్ధ, నీతి, నిజాయితీ, ప్రేమ, అంతఃకరణ అన్నీ వస్తాయి. అప్పుడు ఈ ప్రేమనే
విశ్వవ్యాప్తము చేయగలము, మనము ఈ ప్రయత్నమును ఉమ్మడిగా చేస్తే! అప్పుడు
