हस्तस्य भूषणं दानं सत्यं कण्ठस्य भूषणं l

 श्रोत्रस्य भूषणं शास्त्रं भूषणैः किं प्रयोजनम् ll

 హస్తస్య భూషణం దానం సత్యం కణ్ఠస్య భూషణం l

 శ్రోత్రస్య భూషణం శాస్త్రం భూషణైః కిం ప్రయొజనం ll

 దానము  చేతులకు ఆభరణము, కంకణములు కావు. సత్య వాక్కు కంఠాభరణము కానీ పసిడి దండలు కాదు.  సద్వాక్య శృతి కర్ణాభరణముగానీ కుండలములు గావు. బాహ్యాలంకారాలు నిరర్థకములు.

 'చేతులకు దొడవు దానము'

 (భూతలనాధులకుఁ దొడవు బొంకమి ధరలో

 నీతియ తొడ వెవ్వారికి

 నాతికి మానంబు తొడవు నయముగ సుమతీ)

అన్నది సుమతి శతకకారుని మాట,

భూషలు గావు మర్త్యులకు భూరి మయాంగాధ తారహారముల్

భూషిత కేశపాశ మృదు పుష్ప సుగంధ జలాభిషేకముల్

భూషలు గావు పూరుషుని భూషితు జేయు పవిత్ర వాణి, 'వా

గ్భూషణమే సుభూషణము' భూషణముల్ నశియించునన్నియున్

అన్నది భర్తృహరి మాట .

శిష్ట వాక్య మొకటె చేవికలంకారమ్ము

 పైడి భూషణములు పనికి రావు

 దీని నెరిగి నీవు దిద్దుకో బ్రతుకును

 రామమోహనుక్తి రమ్య సూక్తి

  అన్నది రామమోహనుని మాట

ఫణము పైన మణి వున్నదని పాముతో సహవాసము చేయము కదా ! భగవంతుడు అవయవాలను మనకొసగినది ఆభరణములతో అలంకరించుకోనుటకు కాదు ఆత్మ ప్రక్షాళన కొరకు. ఆత్మశుద్ధి  త్వరగా జరిగితే మనగతి పురోగతి ,లేకుంటే అధోగతే !

हस्तस्य भूषणं दानं सत्यं कण्ठस्य भूषणं

 श्रोत्रस्य भूषणं शास्त्रं भूषणैः किं प्रयोजनम्

 हाथों का आभूषण दान होता है, कंकण नहीं | कंठाभरण होता है सूनृत वाक्य , कोई 'हार' नहीं | सद्भाषण ही

कानों के सद्भूषण होते हैं, बुन्दे नहीं | कोई अभावग्रस्त या जरीब को या कोई जरूरतमंद को देना हाथो का आभूषण 

होता है |दाहिने हाथ से देनेवाला दान बाए हाथ को नहीं दिखाना चाहिए | लेकिन ज़माना बदल गया जो भी देनेका है 

तो वह टीवी केमेरा या पत्रकार के सामने ही देगा ताकि उनका गौरव संघ में बढ़ जाए | दान कभी भी निस्स्वार्थ होना 

चाहिए | कंठ का आभूषण कभी भी अफ़्रंज के गहने नहीं बन सकते, सिर्फ़ सत्य वाक्य ही बनसकता है | जो भी बात

सच्चे दिल से दूसरों के हित में बोली जाती है वही कंठ का आभरण होता है | कर्ण को सुसज्जित करनेवाले झुमके नहीं 

है, अच्छे विषयों को सुनना ,बड़ों के बातों पर श्रद्धा रखना , शास्त्र पुराण इतिहासों को ध्यान से सुनना , ऐसे चीज होते हैं 

कानोंके आभूषण बाहरी दिखावा धोकेबाजों के गहने होते हैं | सांप के पहन पर मणि होनेसे भी उस से हम दूर ही रहते हैं |

To offer, is the ornament for the hand; to tell truth is the embellishment for the throat; goodcounsel (scriptures) is the grace to the ear; what is the use of whim-whams that we 

mean?  

They are all futile and worthless. Giving something to the needy, assisting someone in their

hardships, extending a hand of assurance to someone in distress are the real ornaments

 to the hand and not bracelets or bangles or anything of that kind. It is not advertised

 to the world with cameras, photos and pictures. It is done with no expectations in return 

either. That beautifies the hand in reality. The purpose of the throat or neck, is not to hana sparkling necklace around! Truth is the true embellishment for the neck.Speaking the truth

always is the very purpose of having a voice.

 Flashy ear rings may entice the eye from the outside. But the reason these sense organs

 were given to us were, to perceive the scriptures, listen to good counsel and put to use.

 That enhances the both the presence and purpose of the ears.

 A beautiful heart can make a beautiful personality and never the external ornaments. a

 snake having diamond on its hood can never impress us, to be good.
